5. how long do we keep your personal data?

5.1. Your personal data will only be processed for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes described above or, where we have asked you for your consent, until such time as you withdraw your consent. 5.2. As a general rule, we will de-identify your personal data when it is no longer needed for the purposes described above or when the retention period, as explained in this article, has expired. 5.3. We will retain all personal data collected through our websites for as long as necessary to pursue the legitimate interests set out in clause 3.1 or until such time as you withdraw your consent. We keep technical information such as our server log files for 6 months after you visit our website, after which they are deleted or de-identified. Messages you send us via the contact form we keep for as long as necessary to process and follow up on your question, request, comment or other input. We also keep an archive of so-called tickets received through the contact form. We delete or de-identify tickets that we have closed no later than 5 years after their closure. We keep information about your browsing habits (e.g. user ID) no longer than 26 months after your visit to our website, after which they are deleted or de-identified.

5.4. For all personal data that we collect as stipulated in Article 3.2 in the context of a contractual relationship with you or the organization you represent, the general rule is that we will keep this data for the duration of the contractual relationship and at least for 7 years thereafter.

5.5. We will retain all personal data we collect from you as part of your application for employment for the duration of the application process and, if we choose to employ you, for the entire duration of your contract with us and for 10 years after termination of the contract. If we do not choose to hire you, but we have invited you for an interview, we will retain your personal data for 5 years after the review process has concluded. If you consent to us including your personal data in our recruitment reserve, we will retain your personal data for 5 years after receiving your personal data.

5.6. All personal data that we collect when you visit us we will keep for as long as necessary to pursue the legitimate interests mentioned in clause 3.4 or, if you have used our wifi network, until such time as your personal data is no longer necessary in this regard. We consider this retention to be necessary until 12 months after your last access to our wifi network. Identity and contact data and other data recorded in connection with your visit, we keep for as long as necessary to manage our business activities in a responsible and professional manner. We do not keep this data longer than 2 years after your visit. Camera images taken during your visit on which you are recognizable will not be kept for longer than 1 month after the image was taken, unless there is a legal reason to keep this camera image for a longer period.

We retain all personal data collected through our interactions with you via telephone, email or other digital communication channels for as long as necessary to communicate with you, but also to maintain a historical archive of our communications. This allows us to return to previous communications if you come back to us with new questions, requests, comments or other input.

6. How do we secure your personal data?

6.1. We take technical and organizational measures to adequately protect your personal data and maintain its quality. We continuously improve this protection in line with technical developments. We use a range of physical, electronic and administrative measures to ensure that your personal data is secure.

6.2. The images recorded and stored through video surveillance or other image capture are secured against tampering and other forms of unlawful processing. Only a very limited number of persons have access to those images.
